KILLER BARS: Horizontal lines which are typically
used to cancel a stamp.
KILOWARE: Term used by dealers or countries to sell
mixtures of stamps on paper. A kilo is approximately 2 1/3
pounds.
KNIFE: The cutting edge of the machine which cuts the
envelope blank. Also, the size and shape of the die-cut
papers from which the envelopes are folded.
